More updates.

My family and I went to the nearby neighbourhood police centre on the 28th. Came out on the 29th...

Actually, it was 12 midnight on 28 November. We then walked out from the police centre on the 29th at about 1am...

Haha! What do you think we were doing at the police centre??!!
We were changing our NRIC address of course!

That night, we finally managed to find the time after our dinner to do it. Usually, changing of the address on our NRIC will only take about 5 minutes or so. However, that special night, before us were 3 families, they were all filing a police report.

Anyway, the house's upgrading project was over. At present, it is our renovation work that is going on! And these explain why I haven't been blogging since 22 November...

On 23 November, I went for the LYSGuzheng BBQ at Pasir Ris Park. It was specially organised by the juniors, teachers, and helpers, for the current Sec 4s and 5 graduated seniors! I received a specially made invitation card, balloon, SYF'07 competition photo, and a hand-made guidance [ :

It was really fun and I did enjoy myself that day!
A BIG THANK YOU! We really appreciate the efforts you guys had put in, making this BBQ a great success!

I also got to meet my beloved juniors - Sec 1s to 3s (:
Furthermore, I could see that all my Sec 2s and 3s juniors have really grown! Their leadership skills are improving, from once a shy person, now to a cheerful and active individual!

Singapore Management University (SMU)

Yesterday, I was supposed to meet Lotus at Bedok Interchange but met Wei Ming there instead. Hence, we waited for Wen Tang and Lotus to arrive. After that, we made our way to Singapore Management University (SMU), School of Accountancy & School of Law, for the Peace Lecture on "Youth, Internet & Democracy".

The amazing and humorous speakers addressed on bloggers who blog about their personal life etc, and more often, politics. It was an interesting talk though and I did enjoyed myself. Most people describe the female speaker as robust.
She also mentioned that it is diversity that leads to democracy.

Singapore Management University, which at present I have been to, is cool and beautiful (: SMU is unique in a way that their Schools are scattered around the area.

In fact, just when we stepped out of Dhoby Ghaut station, I was already taken aback by the beautiful and mesmerizing sceneries before me. Fort Canning Park, National Museum of Singapore... ( :

After the lecture that had ended at 9.30pm, we headed for dinner at Long John Silver's. Along the way, I was actually admiring the beautiful christmas lightings. The cool weather after the rain added to its beauty. I saw the huge christmas tree infront of Raffles City.

Then we met Wei Wen and his friends outside CHIJMES. After our dinner, we walked to City Hall Station and met Jin Wen there.
The tall tanned guy standing at 1.85m, well-known for his funky moves, and personal slogan: "A dancer who designs, and a designer who dances."

Well, other than them both, we did saw many members though as they had also attended the lecture at SMU. We boarded the train at City Hall station and I reached home approximately at 11.30pm. I started unpacking and packing. Slept at 2am.

It was definitely a great and memorable day for me!

Recent

To be frank, I have been 'influenced' by my brother during these holidays to watch Starhub Cable TV Channels 32, 33, and 35. Every Mondays, 9pm to 9.30pm (with the exception of yesterday due to High School Musical 2 Sing-Along), Channel 33, "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody". This is a highly recommended hilarious show! WATCH IT! XDD

Then on the other side, by my dad, Channels 8, 10, 11, 12, 58, 59, 60, and 66. All the History, Geography, Space and Environmental Mysteries, Movies channels. And thus, nowadays, I have been switching to all these channels and others. Indeed, be it exciting movies, wars, amazing facts about the nature, they are all so fascinating! :DD

Anyway, put aside the advertising of the channels, I'm currently picking up a new instrumental skill, besides guzheng.
That is Tao Di (陶笛).
It is a chinese instrument that requires your blowing skills. It also exist in various colours, shapes and sizes with different pitch.

The tao di that I have was bought by Geraldine during her trip in Taiwan. Much thanks! It is a small blue duckling. (:

Updates!

Alright, here are some updates:

I have moved, and am adapting to my new environment.

By the way, simply dial my previous house number (6582----), and you will be able to get my new home telephone number. ( :

WOO! After all the squating downs, standing ups, carrying of heavy boxes, cleaning, and painting of the house, I believe I have greatly benefited from these! Haha!

Anyway, I'm sorry if I were unable to attend Gakkai meetings or events. I have been busy since my O levels period and were unable to find time to contact my FD ICs. Really sorry about it. Since my house is ALMOST done now, I will start organising my time and schedule.

Well, I have some events clashes though. I have to 'sacrifice' some of them. =(

2pm - 5pm PDA FD Dance Item rehearsal
3pm - 5pm Temasek Poly Institution Meeting
5pm onwards Soka Women Glorious Victory Day rehearsal

On 18 November 2007,
10am onwards FD Tampines Zone Meeting
- 2008 FD General Meeting Dance audition

Anyway, on 10 November 2007, I went to Bishan Stadium for
"Celebrity Soccer Match cum Friendship For Peace Concert" organised by SSA. It was a match between Mediacorp team and SSA team.

You never know how light can produce wonderful effects ( ;

The celebrities include the-just-married Tang Yu Shu, Project Superstar II Champion Daren Chen Shi Wei, Zheng Ge Ping, Gurmit Singh, Lin Dong Hai, Steven Tan, Randall, the one and only female participant Chen Li Ping, and so on..

Mediacorp artistes and singers were present as well. Some of them were Campus Superstar II Benjamin and Zi Jie, Jeff, Superband Broz, MCs for the day Zhu Yong Qing and Ye Yong Mei, Felicia Chin, and etc..

40 YMDs and YWDs (Urban Passion) kick start the show with their fantastic dance. Please watch the video below. ( =

146th entry

Hi Blog! Let's make this my 146th entry. ( :

For the past few weeks, my family and I were getting REAL busy with the packing, tidying, cleaning, moving of our stuff, boxes, pieces of furniture etc etc from our current house in Pasir Ris to our new house in Bedok. We have been running errands to and fro a couple of places. For days, we reach Bedok in the morning and back home after midnight. o_O

By the way, the few blocks there are currently under upgrading. Thus, after we have moved in, I believe my family and I will take a GOOD REST at home, pack, clean, tidy, buy furniture and stuff like that.

So to all, I don't think we will be organising a House Warming that fast, considering the upgrading project etc.

There are some events coming up though. Soka versus MEDIACORP Artistes Soccer-cum-Concert at Bishan Stadium, Future Division meeting, Soka Women Glorious Victory Day, Primary Division Anniversary Concert, Japan trip, and Ah-HA! my last 2 Pure Physics and Pure Chemistry Paper 1 on 12 November! HEHE.. XDD

In addition..

Today is the 2nd day of November.
Wow! As seen below, today is also the birthday of my friends! HAHA!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!

Starting from this week, my family and I will be busy with the cleaning, packing, tidying, and moving of our house. And in about 2 hours time, my younger brother and I will not be at home, we will be at our new house to so-called monitor the construction of the house.

P.S. Ms Tok, don't worry. I will be bringing my Social Studies textbooks along with me for revision. ( :

P.S. I will update you guys my new home address when everything has been settled down. No worries. [ : Most probably, my home telephone number will be changing as well.

But one thing for sure, at the moment, my email address, my mobile phone number etc. will still remain as it is.
