是否有学到东西;
是否对得起自己;

经一事,长一智。

虽然手的肌肉还有些疼痛;而脚的余青也没那么快好,
但是就让这‘痛‘提醒我所吸取的教训 。。

不断地进步, 不断向前迈进吧!

You did not visit the wrong blog.
It's just that I have the adrenaline rush to blog in Chinese. :]

Had a bad fall. Due to the lack of sleep for the entire week, I was feeling rather giddy today.
Hence I tripped, and fell. People around me were shocked.
When I landed on the ground, I was thinking whether to stand up or just lie there.
Latter 'cos I was tired and the crazy thought of sleeping there came to my mind.
In the end, I chose to get up on my feet. :]

Didn't quite feel the impact, until I reached home..
Bruises on my ankle, knee, and hip bone.
Strained my arm muscles as well.
Neither can I really raise my right hand nor exert too much strength on it.
Fortunately, with the protection of the functions in life and the
environment (shoten zenjin), I wasn't hit on the head.

Thanks for sharing (:

Lizard

LIZARDS
HAVE A RUBBERY
KIND-OF-FEEL

Woke up this morning, sat on my bed, in my mind: "Hurry end school. Come back home can sleep...."

Monday Blue as usual.. Hectic day, many books and files, heavy schoolbag.

When I got everything ready, sat down for my breakfast. Untied the plastic bag that has bread, which we bought yesterday at Takashimaya. Just when I was looking forward for my wonderful breakfast, saw something pale brown in colour with 2 black dots, at the edge of the plastic bag.

Just when I wanted to take a closer look, that dumb dumb thing jumped onto me!
As it happened too fast, I was dumbfounded for less than 2 seconds, then ................

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH -
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

My mum was there when the incident took place. She was preparing some dishes for lunch. At first, she stared at me, shocked. Then she asked what had happened.

L-I-Z-A-R-D-!

Guess what my mum's reply was?

“醒来了 hor?”

YEAH! I was initially sort of moody, but thanks to the lizard, I became quite energetic. LOL.

I have been thinking of that lizard for the entire day in school. Pale brown with 2 blacks eyes as small as a dot. Oh man, it just gives me the creeps. *SICK*

Okay, don't laugh. I know it's very kiddo of me to scream so loud in the early morning, as if the entire neighborhood could hear me just because of a tiny lizard smaller than the size of my palm! =X

Thinking back, I think the poor lizard was so much fearful of me than I was.

After I have calmed down and settled for breakfast ......

ME:
"I AM SO GONNA TELL MY FRIENDS ABOUT IT."

Mum:
"I think they will laugh at you."

Thomson Zone WD Formation Day 2009

Headed down to TBSC today to support Thomson Zone WD Formation Day. The hall was filled with members, believers, and new friends.

The amazing thing was that majority of the youths were involved in taking photographs of the happenings on stage - voluntarily. This is my first time attending a meeting with so many youths, especially the younger ones, being so enthusiastic in taking photographs!

How can this crazy moment be without me? Therefore, I too, voluntarily joined in "The Photographs-taking Force"! Hahahaha.

Dance group

The Choir
Panel Sharing
Our young but courageous musician who has to rely on hearing aid
And the HIGHLIGHT of the show was this group of grandmothers dancing to the Hello Kitty song! CUTE!!!! This segment also attracted many people to go forward and take shots!

This is what I call, "Old, but young at heart!"

Energetic Grandmothers
Finale!
The Sun in the children heart (:
Eventually, the show ended with loud and convincing applause.
大家辛苦了!

ARMY & SYFC OPEN HOUSE

NOTE: Pictures to be found on Facebook for the following:

(1) Learning journey to Army Open House on Friday with A04;
(2) Singapore Youth Flying Club (SYFC) Open House today with Mum & Bro + our dinner with Dad + Swensen's after that.

The trip to both Open House are definitely an eye-opening for me!

The bus dropped us at Joo Koon MRT station, and we have to walk quite a distance passing S'pore Discovery Center to reach our destination, Pasir Laba Camp.

Leaders Square

By the time we reached there, the whole area were packed with students from other schools and the public. So our class decided to give the parade show a miss. We then toured the place, took many pictures of the various Units. Thereby after, we wrote a postcard each, sending our warmest regards and concern to our courageous heroes & fighters overseas.

All in all, I was totally amazed by all the Army equipment, fighter planes, tanks and many others. It's definitely a trip worthwhile. :)

Next up, my brother's SYFC invited family members to their Open House at Seletar Camp.

While waiting in the room, a group of SYFC students who later came in started their conversation among one another. There was this guy sharing his flight experience with his friends who are also trainees in SYFC. He said something like that: Thick clouds, change in air pressure, causes the plane to jerk.

He shared, during that 'impromptu situation', he was rather nervous as his instructor was sitting next to him.

INSTRUCTOR: "WHY IS THE PLANE SO JERKY?"
him: "Because of the wind..."
INSTRUCTOR: "WHY THE WIND?"
him: "I don't know... You ask the wind......."

I almost burst out laughing while reading my Time magazine!

Waited for my brother to finish his flying lesson. We then joined Mum at the theatre for briefing by COL (NS) Andy Tan - GM of SYFC, Chief Flying Instructor Daniel, and some other teenage private pilots from SYFC Alumni etc.

The joy ride was only restricted to parents. I believe it would be a wonderful experience flying freely in the sky!

Saw some TPJCians too. At least for now, I know that 2 TPJCians have graduated with a PPL (Private Pilot License), and the other TPJCian, who is currently in the same phase as my brother, turns out to be my bro's VS schoolmate!

After that, met Dad at AMK Hub. He then drove us for dinner at Manpuku in Tampines One.

We then walked to Tampines Mall for our ice-cream dessert at Swensen's!

The most funniest thing happened.

1. After the waiter served us our ice-cream and drinks, we weren't provided with spoon.
2. My mum said jokingly to one of the waiters, "How do I stir my coffee? With my finger?" (LOL!)
3. So the waiter returned with a coffee spoon, ONLY.
4. The 4 of us stared at our ice-cream, looked at one another, then burst out laughing.

HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO EAT OUR ICE-CREAM THEN W/O THE DESSERT SPOON??!!! HAHAHAHA!

The waiter himself also started laughing and finally, returned with the basket this time round, filled with spoons, forks, knives, sugar etc.

Haha! What a wonderful day yay! You think so too? :D

& Thomson Zone WD Formation Day tomorrow. My mum's the emcee. Will be going down to TBSC to support and take photographs. :]

Shall be recharged for the battle!

Anything

Drugs told me she had once ordered McDelivery THRICE in a day - breakfast, lunch & dinner.
(!!!!)

So we continued with our tennis game today.
P.S. Whoever wants to play tennis with Drugs or me, just be prepared to run across the court to catch the ball, or simply, dodge the ball. LOL. Drugs will understand what I'm saying.

Losing quite a bit of hair lately. And I have been killing ants these few days. Hope this will stop 'cos it just distract me from my studies.

No choice, I'm just too sweet for the ants. (WHATEVER!)

Okay, just before you guys start to puke, I'm stating the above sentence just to make my blog post looks longer. Hahaha.

Last week, Mrs Quek gave me a packet of biscuits for scoring 2nd for Maths, but guess what, I didn't get to eat it. =_='''

1) That day, returned home and placed that packet of biscuits on the dining table.
2) Told my family about my achievement that night.
3) THE NEXT DAY, MY DEAR BROTHER ATE IT - W/O ME KNOWING.

The funny thing is that he still told me, "姐, that brand 的 biscuits very delicious. Next time go buy."
*faints*

Song: At The Beginning by Donna Lewis & Richard Marx (:

Thanks Mum for the reassurance. Just a simple sentence and it brought me back to the basic fundamental of faith. :))

A cup of coffee a day keeps the sleepiness away.
