I come across some constructive guidance/gosho found in Issue 6 (2007)
SOKA "Creative Life", pages 39 to 43.

"The Daishonin's Buddhism teaches that whether in times of suffering or joy, we must maintain the resolve to score victories in life, transform KARMA INTO MISSION based on earnest prayers, show actual proofs of the validity of Buddhism
and bring joy and confidence to the people around us."

One of Ikeda sensei's guidance is very encouraging too! ((:

"Life at times might seem like an endless succession of pain and suffering.
But just as good time never last forever, neither do the bad.
Life is a combination of both the good and bad, suffering and joy.
Sometimes we win, other times we lose.
Both suffering adn joy are a part of life; this is life's reality.
That is why we should keep chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo through both suffering and joy, without denying what we are feeling, the Daishonin says.
If we do that, we will be able to attain a state of supreme happiness through the wisdom and power of the Mystic Law and lead a life in which nothnig can defeat us."

I was deeply encouraged after I have read the above.
Although I may encounter many obstacles in my journey of faith,
I AM DETERMINED TO ALWAYS BASE MYSELF ON DAIMOKU, TRANSFORM KARMA INTO MISSION, AND WIN IN EVERY CHALLENGE IN TIMES OF SUFFERING AND JOY.

I will want to CREATE NEW HISTORY of kosen-rufu by sharing my
joy of practice with friends and people around me.
Most importantly, I told myself, I must score victories in my life
and for SOKA - A COLORFUL LIFE. XDD

Last Saturday, we had our 4 Divsion Meeting. As usual, Xian Feng and I are always pick to share our testimonials and etc. I can say that
WE REALLY DID SHARED ALOT THAT DAY !! (:

That same night, back at home, my brother and I took some 自恋 photos.
THAT WERE OUR FIRST TIMES. HAHA!

Then it came yesterday. My brother and I, together with my family, went to cut our hair at Auntie Eileen's house. We really have to THANK her alot! Her skills are honestly GREAT and she is really a generous person ((:

Wingx is funny!! ~

On Tuesday, Wingx came to my house to do Amaths homework. Well I should say OUTSIDE my house. We wanted to move a set of foldable table and chairs out to the lift area. Then, a LIZARD flew out!!!

It jumped onto my shirt - AT MY WAIST LEVEL!! I smacked it away. Wingx was screaming and HOPPING away. LOLS!

Talking about lizards, my first encounter ALONE was a few weeks back..

.. Just as I took out the packet of bread from a plastic bag, a lizard was air-borned, and fell onto my dining table with a tuck. -_-'' Oh well, what can I say?

LIZARDS. MY "PHOEBIA".

Today, I was discussing with Wingx about life in Poly via SMS. Then she told me that her elder brother is in Singapore Poly. Next I got to know that her brother's poly course (on development) fee is S$1000 to S$2000. Then I asked Wingx,

"A few thousands?!! PER MONTH?"

She replied in quite a slang language,
"Your head lah per month.. A few months lah.. One month one thousand go rob bank lah.. Haha!" -_-''

Judging by our current situation, we HAVE to and we MUST moved. We cannot stay at our current place now.
We have been staying in Pasir Ris for about 16 years or so.
OF COURSE I WILL MISS OUR CURRENT HOME :(
The valuation is out. We are quite satisfied about it as we know that one of our prayers have been answered. (:
Maybe to Yishun?? No matter what, my 'O' Levels are approaching, and I am going to put in all my effort to
concentrate and revise and practice and understand and apply!!

This post is supposed to be posted on 16 June 2007.

We had our INTER REGION RHQ1 & RHQ6 FD meeting today.
It was a GREAT SUCCESS!! And I enjoyed myself!! XD

Firstly, Cherie, Celeste, Jingyuan and I had this SPINNING DANCE after our dance training. It's very funny!! Watch the video below and you will know why. ((:

Then, we met our SOKA MEMBER cum CAMPUS SUPERSTAR 2 participant - Benjamin Hum ((:
He came to join us for the FD meeting as well.

Next, we had this welcoming group stationed at the main door. Whenever a guest walked in, they will scream and shout. Thus, Cherie and I did this:
We both walked in.
As they screamed, WE SHOUTED.

In the end, I jumped high like some crazy people and everyone there were looking at me, including the group with Benjamin. It was pretty embarrassing, but I was really "HIGH" and I really did enjoyed myself !! XD

After weeks of trainings and rehearsals, our dance item and other items were definitely a VERY GREAT SUCCESS. ((: Thanks guys!

Games of BALL XD

We had Emaths tutorial in school this morning. It lasted till 2 plus in the afternoon. Then we suggested to Mr Han to give us the permission to play some ball games. Thus, he went to get a ball.

First, we played NETBALL. The group that lost had to do 5 push-ups.

Next, Mr Han wanted us to play FEMALE SOCCER. And this game turned out like this:
(1) Calista and Chanel kicked REALLY hard and, out, the ball flew!
Everyone was douging for the ball! Some
covered their head, and some ran away!
(2) When Calista kicked the ball, it flew very HIGH. Hence,
we had this idea that whenever she wanted to kick the ball, WE LET
HER. Yanfen and Wingx held up the bench. This was to allow 1
GOAL for Calista. XD
(3) And when one person wanted to aim for the goal, all the other girls would gather
ALL AROUND the goal. In the end, what I saw was ALL
THE "BEAUTIFUL" LEGS. LOLS!
(4) Unlike netball, this game grew really quiet, except for FUNNY
LAUGHTERS.

No wonder Mr Han wanted to see us, the girls, play soccer. This is because his reply was:

"I wanted to see you girls play, 'cos GIRLS always play it in a FUNNY way."
Now I believe what he had said. HAHA.

Then, we played BASKETBALL. Guess what we did?

We were like really DISCIPLINED that we LINED UP in 1 STRAIGHT row, before our turn to throw the ball. That's why Mr Han said he should video-taped down the whole process.
And I AGREED.

After that, we changed to playing CAPTAIN'S BALL.
Lastly, while the others were resting, Jingyuan, Celeste and I continued to train like a basketball player, with some RUGBY techniques. We went like 2 & 2 throwing the ball to one another and in to the goal, from one goal to the other end of it. Well, it's quite tiring though. But it was kinda fun and at least, we could train our muscles and stamina. (:

At about 4.15pm, we ended the ENTIRE BALL GAMES. And we headed back home for DINNER, BLOGGING, MSN-ing, FRIENDSTER-ing, TV SHOWS or etc. XD

SHINANOMACHI

Last Saturday, I went with my brother to HQ-ICA to support my mum and group for their rehearsal.

We watched a video featuring MR DAISAKU IKEDA & MRS KANEKO IKEDA. XD
It was so touching (: It has also make me realised many things ((:

Then we went to the cafeteria at the basement - SHINANOMACHI.

We sat, ate, drank, enjoyed the atmosphere, and I did my homework there. (:

Yesterday, I went for the rehearsal at TSC.
Well, I managed to recap and polish the dance steps with my group (:
Only the STOMP part that was messy. Both groups don't-know-what-to-do and anyhow-moved-around. And when we were supposed to pretend to fight with the other group, our expression on our face was like this:

There are many other groups that are also involved.
For example, the commercial and break group. LOLS. Their skit is like really really humorous! :D ohmy.. FREDDIE and group. HAHA!

BASKETBALL (:

This morning, my alarm clock rang at 7am. I just drank a cup of hot milo and made my way out at 7.30am. Then at 8am, Meiqi, Jingyuan, ME, Shenny, Yanfen, and Priscilla met and we played basketball.

One word to describe this match of 3 on 3, GIRLS VS GIRLS:

SHIOK!
(Pardon me for using slang here.)

I'm with Meiqi and Jingyuan.

Then at 10am, we made our way to 201 MacDonald's.
My breakfast + lunch list:
HOTCAKES! HARSH BROWN! MILO!
(my childhood ALL TIME FAVOURITE ^_^)

We sat there for about 2 hours. And we finally came out with this phrase:

Next, we decided to divide each sentences and put on our MSN nick.Hence, this is the reason why these sentences appear on each of our MSN caption. (:

It seemed that I haven't been updating. =P
Alright, here goes.

TODAY, we had our Pure Chemistry tutorial at 8am. It turned out that almost half of the class was sneezing and stiffing away.
We did some TYS questions on ELECTROLYSIS. Everyone was supposed to volunteer their answer for at least once. When the lesson was going to end, and seeing that we had not finish one of the questions, the tension started..

SOME GUYS: "Ask the girls. They didn't volunteer their answers.."
SOME OTHER GUYS: "Yeah yeah! Ask the girls."

GIRLS (especially MEIQI & PRISCILLA): "Hey! What? Who say we didn't? I did okay..(MEIQI)"

GUYS & GIRLS: ("DEBATING")

The quiet class soon turned into a class full of debating tension. HAHA!
That's why Pure Chemistry lesson is fun. Our class always have these funny comments and laughters. XD

After the tutorial had ended, Jingyuan and I chatted for one and a half hour at the bus stop! Our topics ranged from "COUSINS", "JCs/POLYs" etc etc to "LANGUAGES" and "INTERNATIONAL NEWS" etc etc. LOLS!

For this ONE AND A HALF HOUR, many students passed by us to and fro, from school to Central and from Central back to school. When we saw them, they gave us the just-saw-2-crazy-people-sitting-at-the-bus-stop-for-so-long kind of look ((o.O)).

The funniest reply was by Vincent,
"Why from just now till now you all haven't go back? The bus come so late??"

He sings really well. Very touching.

5 JUNE 2007 TUESDAY
I went for the dance training at TSC.
Met HIM and his gang on the bus..

I thought I was late for the training, but it turns out that Cherie and I were the earliest! In the end, the training officially starts at 8.30pm. -_-''
Kenneth was teaching us the final steps for STOMP and the last ending pose. ^_^

*We will have to polish up our finally dance steps on 8 JUNE, which means TOMORROW.
The first rehearsal will be on 10 JUNE.*

6 JUNE 2007 WEDNESDAY
We had our 'O' Level Pure Physics SPA Skill 3.
It was a GREAT SUCCESS though. (:
Miss Tok also distributed back our report books.
We really appreciate her wonderful encouragement (:

I came back from the dance training at 11pm, on 1st June 2007 (:

Cherie and I can be crown "THE MOST HARDWORKING DANCE CHOREOGRAPHERS"!!

Kenneth SHOULD BE crown "THE BEST & NICE & SWEET DANCE CHOREOGRAPHER"!!

Kenneth taught us new and funky dance steps.
Since Petrina and Jingyuan were not present, and Kenneth would not be with us next Friday, therefore, Cherie and I play a much more important role as the choreographers.

So the 2 of us kept revising the dance steps again and again, till we have finally master it at 10pm ;D HAHA!!
For next Tuesday, which will be our next training, Kenneth will be concentrating more on STOMP, thus, we were instructed to bring the recycled materials.

And guess what?
I danced barefooted, and as a result, my feet became numb!

HAHA! OPPS! SORRY! BACK TO THE TOPIC.
