Back from Japan

Hihi.. After I have returned back to Singapore, somehow, I didn't feel like blogging. But I think that I should share part of my experience in Japan with you guys! ((:
However, 8 days in Japan = 1000++ photos, hence I will only upload some of the photos here. `ENJOY!

I was in Japan from 14th to 22 December'07.

As it's winter season in Japan now, the sky starts to turn dark as early as 4pm! And we were already in our dreams at 9pm or so! This is our first time to sleep that early when we are overseas! ((x

We arrived at Narita Airport, Tokyo, on the 15th. When we have finally landed, everyone was excited about the cool weather outside. Haha..

We then went to Gunma Prefecture. Stayed in Hotel Sanderson (Japanese-style room). We met with strong winds and low temperatures. And this was where a group of us tried walking from the train station back to our hotel one night. It was definitely a COLD experience for me!
But we are glad that we tried. (:

Visited Haruna Memorial Park, and this was where it started to snow in the form of tiny winy ice cubes.. And, we attended my cousin's Japanese wedding ceremony at Gunma Soka kaikan.

We proceeded to Tokyo by Shinkansen. The people in Tokyo are of the following (no offence):

- A large population!
- Busy! And I mean it.
- Their coat are all BLACK!
Thus, we named them as the "Black Society".

Visited Tokyo's Soka kaikan, museum, Soka University of Japan, and not forgetting, Tokyo Disneyland, and standing at 333m - The magnificent Tokyo Tower.

Next destination: Osaka.

This is where you can buy all the cheap electronics.

Of course, we visited Kansai Soka kaikan...
It was WONDERFUL!

and also, Universal Studio of Japan.

Jing Yuan and Celeste will definitely scream when they see this. HAHA!

BUNS! What can I say, poor snoopies...

Finally, we came back on the 22nd. It was raining in the morning. And the plane was jerky due to the bombardment with the thick and heavy clouds (air pressure).

Spot it? That's our homeland, viewed from the sky at night!

Now I know why most of the people who have been to Japan know about SGI..

'cos near every kaikans in Japan, there are always many shops (ranging from accessories to restaurants) that are managed by our own SGI members! And these usually occupy a street!

Japanese manners, and their wonderful spirit are something that we should learn, really. Experience their interesting culture and engage in their daily life! I'm touched by them during this trip in Japan.. Always greeting us when they see us; A cheerful and friendly smile on their face that really warms your heart - deep from within.. :DD

Trust me, do visit Japan when you have the opportunity!
And you will soon realise that SEEING IS BELIEVING.

It will definitely be an eye-opening for most! xDD

Victoria School

Together with my brother, we made our way to Victoria School today. Honestly, it has been LONG since I have visited the school.
Kinda...miss it.
'cos it is a school that has let me realise a GREAT DIFFERENCE from any other schools. After all, I have made many friends in that school - Soka Comrades, my brother's friends, Wrixon's friends... ... ...

The Victorians, the staff, the Principal, the school's spirit, the school's innovation, the school's initiative, our 2 turtles (have freed them into Victoria School's pond earlier) etc etc.
I really miss them! XD

Hence I have decided to take a few pictures using my brother's newly-bought camera.

When I stepped into the school, the paintings, the walk-ways, the canteen, the bookshop, the library, the classrooms, the CCA rooms, etc, they have reminded me many things.
Those wonderful and beautiful moments....
and also of that ONE Victorian, who has taught us a LIFE GREATEST LESSON.

Alright, enough said about that. If not, I might start weeping..
So, after my brother has bought his Sec4 books and uniform, we headed back to Bedok Interchange. And I bought a new pair of jeans.
Then, had our lunch etc, and TADA! (:

Time flies.

At the blink of our eyes, O'levels had finished; I have moved; Upgrading project was over (currently, renovation)..........

MQ has left for America and will be coming back on the 14th.
And I will be leaving for Japan on the SAME DAY!

MQ thought of meeting me at the airport on the 14th but she will be back in Singapore in the morning, while I will be leaving Singapore at night...

I will be back on the 22nd. The thing is MQ will be flying off to Hong Kong on the 23rd! Urghhhh......... NEVER MIND.

Other than holiday, our (Yes, OUR. 'cos I will be going to Japan with my Mum, younger Brother, Cousins, and a group of Soka Comrades. My dad will not be going due to his work) main purpose in Japan is to attend my 表哥 wedding reception. His wife is a Japanese, also a SGI member ((:

Other than that, we will also be visiting Japan's Soka Kaikan and many more... :D

By the way, I have been watching <<超级星光大道>> on Starhub Cable TV, and I have got to know the competitors. They are a group of WONDERFUL people. Really. (:

It is also this show that I have got to know who exactly is 蕭敬騰 (:
He doesn't talk much. That's his character.
The others are as brilliant.

Both 楊宗緯 and 蕭敬騰 have their own unique singing style.
Both of them sing really well and I'm touched by them.
At my first sight, by appearance, both look fierce, but in fact, they speak softly and I see a gentle side of them.

I watched The 44th Golden Horse Awards the other day, and 蕭敬騰 did performed. When he played the piano, I felt that he resembles someone whom I have seen before on TV. Thus, I did an online search. Indeed, he was the ONE who sang <<一眼瞬间>> with A-mei.

To end off, let's watch and listen to the song <<背叛>> sang by 3 talented men - 楊宗緯, 曹格 (original singer), and 蕭敬騰. ~ ENJOY!

Shenny's birthday

Here's a little history about her: I have known Shenny since Sec 3 last year. And also because of her Soka colour accessory she always attach it to her pencil case, I realise she's a Soka member as well! Since then, I got to know Jing Yuan.

After that, for any SSA cultural activities, I would invite Shenny and Jing Yuan to join me in performing. Our very first item was a modern dance, with Fiona and Yi Ling. I should say, we really did have fun! After witnessing our vibrant dance, some leaders invited the 5 of us to put up a dance on stage during a YWD General Meeting at HQ-ICA in 2006.

Finally, we named ourselves as "inNOcent". This name pattern symbolises that the 5 of us may look innocent by appearance, but in fact, we are not. We can be very crazy and 'high'.

Believe me, till now, Yi Ling and Fiona still remember those wonderful moments we have, especially during the Boys' Brigade chalet end of December last year! Yi Ling had reminded me the other day. Hee.. If you guys know what I am referring... XDD

After then, we were involved in many cultural activites consequently. We decided to change our style. We tried singing, on stage. We have sang a couple of popular chinese songs. Maybe we can try out english songs next time! Haha who knows.. Let's see...

We even thought of publishing a book and shall name it
When two 150s met a 160... I believe the reason behind this name only Shenny, Jing Yuan, and I know. HEES...

Acting? Of course we did try!

Lols. Dancing, singing, acting. Cool huh? :DD

Anyway, back to Shenny. She's the Maths-pro + lover. Be it A or E. We have advanced together on the path of kosen-rufu and studies, and I'm sure, this will last long, together with an additon of our new SSA member, Jing Yuan.

Congratulation to Yong Jing Yuan, for her great happiness and good fortune, to continue and strengthen her faith through the Gohonzon!

Just to let you guys know, Jing Yuan will be enshrining the Gohonzon on 23 December 2007! Under my list, she will be the 1ST person whom I have shakubuku. (:

As well as for Jing Yuan, I have learnt alot from those questions she has asked about being a Soka member. Thank you! ((:

Looking back, since last year, Jing Yuan has been active in joining SSA culture activities, as well as coming out for meetings. She started chanting on 16 June this year, that is, the day when we were performing for Inter-RHQ1 & RHQ6 FD Meeting at MTA.

Yo yo yo! Today is the very 1st day of December.

I went to Bedok library this afternoon. Stayed there for at least 2 hours. Oh please, I wasn't idling around.
I was searching for great books. As I went down the rows, selecting books, reading their summary, gosh, it seems that I have long stepped into a library!

Oh by the way, currently, National Libraries allow a person to borrow up to 8 or 16 items! This promotion starts from 1 November 2007 to 31 January 2008.

So what are you waiting for? Hurry down to any National Library and "grab" some books now! Don't waste this opportunity of learning and gaining your knowledge!

Eventually, I came to a non-fiction corner. Read through some Physics, Chemistry, and History books.
