Yeap, I have been rather busy since the actual lecture has started on Monday. To update all of you what I have been doing since then after (almost EVERY NIGHT).

* Reading of College announcement
* Downloading and printing of notes/slides for my lectures
* Sorting out my lecture and tutorial materials
* Briefly read through and revise the things that have been taught during lectures
* Update my personal notebook and blah blah blah....

We had a H2 Chemistry lecture at Auditorium today. We were going through Redox Reactions. The lecturer wrote on the touch-screen, the formula, "BaO". In Chemistry terms, "BaO" stands for Barium Oxide.

LECTURER: "What do you call this?"
STUDENTS: "Pau!" (Bun in English; For the Chinese Hanyu Pinyin, bun is written as 'bao'. .... THAT'S WHY! LOLS!)

The lecturer then wrote "BaO2" (Note: There's no such formula, the lecturer wanted to test our understanding).

LECTURER: "Then what is this?"
STUDENTS: "2 paus!!"

TPJC JAE Orientation

TPJC JAE Orientation just got better each day! xD

We had the Games Of Life on the second day. We ran around the college to different game stations. Furthermore, the games were quite interesting, with humorous OGMs! :D

On the last day (yesterday), we learned the College song and its cheer.
We also had Wet Games. My OG's first wet game required us to roll over a mat filled with flour, water, and KETCHUP! GROSS... ><
The first person who rolled over will have the most 'mixture' on them.

So the guys from my OG were rather creative/funny...? To determine which guy will go first, they used Scissors, Paper, Stone method. LOLS!

This orientation lasted for 3 days and 1 night.
Till the last day, the OGLs had already lost their voices. =X

The OG Night yesterday was just as great! (X
All of us were so high, so hot, and were rather tired after the entire orientation had ended on a high note!

Thanks to all the OGLs, Student Council, Staff, and the people who have put in lots of effort in this orientation, hence making it a successful one! (=

Chingay Parade 2008!

YEA, CHINGAY 2008 ROCKS!

The great thing about participating in nationwide event is that once we are in our individual costume, every participants, even from other groups or other organisations, will become friends as we all share the same goal...

This time round, we, participants from Singapore Soka Association (SSA), presented Ocean Of Harmony as our opening item (just behind the OBS float that had the Police & Thief casts on it). We had the Ocean 24, Lion Fish, Coral, School of Fish, Waves, Seaweed, Jellyfish, Crab, Bubble Girls, and the Banner Girls.
I also love our Chingay cheer!

On the day of our preview, all of us gathered together by the roadside to have our dinner. In the end, the exhaust gases released from the buses became our "side dish", which some of us have called it.

Then, came the actual day, 16 February. It was great! We inspired the spectators with our high life force and cheers, therefore, showing others our Soka spirit! ^_^

There was this Japanese Association, whereby their Chingay song goes like this:

"Hey hey Singapore,
Konichiwa Singapore!"
Hence, we keep repeating this lyrics like a cheer! Honestly, this has brought much joy and laughters to all of us! :D

Furthermore, I met Ren Yi at the Chingay Parade! When he first saw me, he was stunned, then, "Hey!" After that, we gave each other a high five. If I remembered correctly, he was from the People's Association Dance Group, and thus, together with Jing Han and other dancers, they were also involved in the Chingay! (=


Yesterday, I attended the District Leader BTC at Soka Training School located at Jurong Soka Culture Centre (SCC). To my surprise, some of the Chingay participants were there as well! Whoohoo! We were asked to mingle around and make friends with the other students.

"Hi, were you in the Chingay?"
"Yes! You were as well?"
"Yeah! Which group were you in?"
and blah blah blah.

It was like a great reunion for us, wasn't it? Hees.

Moreover, I also met the lady who was with us during the trip in Japan! :D

At the end of our basic taining course, we gathered together for a group photo. We are the Batch 18th students graduated from the Soka Training School. (:

After everything had ended, the Chingay participants gathered together again, and guess what, we did the Hey hey Singapore, Konichiwa Singapore cheer again! Haha!

Before I end off, I would like to thank all the people involved in the Chingay: participants, trainers, Soka Stallion, admin group, make-up group, costume group and etc.

Gathering @ Seoul Garden

28 4E1'07 students turned up for last night's gathering with our ex-form teacher,
Mdm Viknes, at Seoul Garden, Tampines Mall.

Almost everyone has changed. The style, some with dyed hair, girls with make-up, boys with long hair. Only our dear Mdm Viknes hasn't really changed. She's still as happy as before! =D

They love doing that. Haha lols!

As usual, Alex and I greeted one another with 'SHEEP' and 'FISH'.
Well sometimes, this is our way of communication. (=

He said he ate fish (Seoul Garden's). I replied, "How's your grass then?"
Then he commented that he's the grass, cos he was wearing GREEN! *PUFFS!*

Anyway, it was a great gathering last night as we got to meet up with one another and
Mdm Viknes, and follow up what the others are doing! ^_^
Mdm Viknes also footed the bill - $709!

My family and I were at Marina Bay on the 8th. The emcee on stage was counting down.
For a moment, I was confused. Why were they counting down?

Then we turned.

Beautiful sparks (fireworks) shot high up in to the sky! Having watched it at such a short distance, the feelings were magnificent, thrilling, exciting, hyperactive, touching ...

No idea why, but I am. (:

My parents and I were having our supper at Bedok Blk 85 last night. Then I heard murmuring of my name. I looked up from my food. Guess whom I saw!!!
