The college Auditorium was not just as still and quiet as usual over the weekend. On Saturday (5 June), it was happening! The air was filled with melodious music. Many music lovers were gathered there. There was this group of members in black, who were anxiously waiting for the stage curtain to be drawn open. They had been training hard every week, for months, went home only late at night when most of the people were already resting on their couch. These group of people was the TPJC Chinese Orchestra members.

"You (TPJCCO) devoted months of practice for just one hour on stage. Music-making in the Chinese Orchestra builds character, confidence, compassion, and community ... Use your (TPJCCO) music to bring joy and exhilaration, hope and consolation to people who hear your music."

The one week before the actual performance, I fell really ill. On MC for days. I received many sms-es and missed calls from friends due to my absence from tutorials/lectures and CCA practices. For the first (and the last) time, I was that sick. My daily routines had been disturbed, could not do anything except lying down and stared at the ceilings and walls. It was terrible. The pain would be multiplied if I could not perform together with my CO comrades on Saturday!

Fortunately, I made it!
The experience during 《翠岭夜韵》 was awesome!

Was humming this song all day long, and the happiest moment today: I happened to gaze at the sky as I walked to take bus to school this morning, & I saw a rainbow that bridged the gap between 2 blocks of flats and fluffy clouds. The view was just so beautiful. Beyond words.

RAINBOW has meaningful lyrics that never fail to cheer me up. :)
That's why it has always been one of my favourite songs in my playlist.

ZUNO 2010 SHOWCASE @ RWS

It's so nice that probably couples would wanna have their (future) wedding ceremony/dinner being held there!

The Kim brothers are totally sweet ~ It's heart-warming to see how close and caring this pair of fraternal twin brothers are. I don't know, I felt really warmth when I see them in person, standing on the same land and breathing the same air as us. I was in total awe when JunSu was here in S'pore (as the thought of any TVXQ members coming here had never cross my mind before).

At the showcase, besides performing other songs, Zuno (JunHo's stage name) sang 放开我 (팡카이워) in Korean version, which isn't in his 1st Single - Beginning.

The crazy thing was that it's my first time seeing one of my so-called true idols/singers/actors in person, whose charisma on stage and passion in singing I admire and respect. Speechless.
& the fact that I actually prayed for the great success and absolute victory for the showcase, as well as it must be one of value.

It's not like "Hurray! I'm gonna meet him/Kim brothers!", but rather, more of in a calm state of mind, "Alright, since I'm going for this showcase, I'm gonna create value out of it." As such, I have to admit that from beginning until the end, I didn't really went googoo-gaagaa over the brothers. One of the main reasons that I went for the showcase was to listen to great music (To Cassies out there, I know you guys understand what I mean). To be able to see and hear JunSu singing in real life is really valuable. No regrets.

Well indeed, my prayers were answered. ^~^
& overall, it is a great experience for me and definitely a worth-while and memorable one.
