Emersion Programme

I think my view for "TiAmo" has changed. This song is nice. :)

Recently, there are a number of scholarship students from China whom are being attached to TPJC for 2 weeks. They will start their university education in June next year.

Thus, 2 China scholars are attached to our class - Robyn and Jessie. They are sweet and nice people. :) Since they are leaving college this Friday, Ching and I took the opportunity to take a picture with the both of them.

Robyn is from Shanxi and Jessie is from Sichuan.

These students from China will further their education in NTU. After then, they will have to serve a 6 year bond in Singapore.

It's definitely fun to be with them these 2 weeks.
NEW PEOPLE. NEW FACES. NEW CULTURE. =)

I have learnt quite a lot from them, and they have learnt from us too!

We'll miss them, much. :]

A-Level Chinese :D

Sudden emo-ness rushed through me during the last one hour of lesson today, H2 CLL. A-Level Results were released today. Before taking my A-Level Chinese results, I was worrying if I should consider retaking my A-Level MT if I didn't make it for at least a 'B'. I even asked teacher and friends for opinions. Those who take Econs - opportunity cost is the matter.

Then when my name was called. I walked up to Mrs Kum, signed my name, and looked at my result slip....




"AHHHHHHH!!!!"
was my very first response.





A and Distinction
A for both Paper 1 and 2; Distinction for Oral/Aural.

I was rather shocked, yet at the same time, elated for my results. Happy and grateful for the excellent results; shocked because I thought I didn't do well for my Paper 1.

Then the next thing I did was to inform my mum, who is recuperating at home, about my achievements. Moments later, Dad called.

Yan Fen and I have gotten the same results. HAPPY!

Thus, now, at least I can focus on my other H2 subjects and H1 Maths and GP.

HAPPY for me; HAPPY for my family; HAPPY for my Chinese Tutor! ((:

Update

My Mum had been discharged from the hospital this morning! :D

On behalf of my mum, I thanked ALL for the gifts that have been sent to her these few days. Furthermore, to all those who had pay a visit at the hospital, and all who are concerned about my mum's condition,
please accept my heartfelt gratitude! :]

My mum will be recuperating at home.

Wishing my mum a SPEEDY RECOVERY after the operation! ;D

It's time to brush up on my revision, after all the days going to and fro the hospital since Tuesday.

Annual Road Run

Ching asked me why I didn't update my blog frequently. The reasons are because I'm busy with my school assignments and nothing interesting to blog about.

Anyway, here I am to update! (;

We had college Annual Road Run yesterday at East Coast Park.









Time passes really fast just when we didn't realise it. One year before, I was at the same place with 08S29 for the same event. But we did cheer-leading last year. Nevertheless, I ran for this year's Road Run. I felt a sense of accomplishment! :)

Alright, I think I shall upload until here.
There's more things to do at the moment.

Orientation Camp 1

EAGLES FLY! 09A04! :D

CAMP WAS AWESOME!

Hawk is the ultimate House Champion (my former House!). Eagles comes Third.

We had mass dance, telematch, cheers, Soul Night, Fright Night etc. Oh talking about the Fright Night, our class had fun! And thanks to Syakir for his ghost stories at night after the Fright Night - that really chilled us out man!

Through the camp, I gain a better understanding of my new classmates. I was surprised, and at the same time, shocked, of their personal stories that people don't know.

Yesterday, after I returned home from Camp and finished packing my stuff, I slept through the evening and night, until this morning 6am! Then I started packing my bag for school..

As usual for me, almost for any camp I went, after I returned home, I would sleep sleep sleep and MORE SLEEP. When I came back from OBS in Sec 3, I slept for one whole day man.

All right, I'm lazy to elaborate more of the camp. I shall just let the pictures do the talking! XD
