NOTE: Pictures to be found on Facebook for the following:
(1) Learning journey to Army Open House on Friday with A04;
(2) Singapore Youth Flying Club (SYFC) Open House today with Mum & Bro + our dinner with Dad + Swensen's after that. The trip to both Open House are definitely an eye-opening for me!

The bus dropped us at Joo Koon MRT station, and we have to walk quite a distance passing S'pore Discovery Center to reach our destination, Pasir Laba Camp.
Leaders Square

By the time we reached there, the whole area were packed with students from other schools and the public. So our class decided to give the parade show a miss. We then toured the place, took many pictures of the various Units. Thereby after, we wrote a postcard each, sending our warmest regards and concern to our courageous heroes & fighters overseas.

All in all, I was totally amazed by all the Army equipment, fighter planes, tanks and many others. It's definitely a trip worthwhile. :)
Next up, my brother's SYFC invited family members to their Open House at Seletar Camp.

While waiting in the room, a group of SYFC students who later came in started their conversation among one another. There was this guy sharing his flight experience with his friends who are also trainees in SYFC. He said something like that: Thick clouds, change in air pressure, causes the plane to jerk.
He shared, during that 'impromptu situation', he was rather nervous as his instructor was sitting next to him.
INSTRUCTOR: "WHY IS THE PLANE SO JERKY?"
him: "Because of the wind..."INSTRUCTOR: "WHY THE WIND?"
him: "I don't know... You ask the wind......."I almost burst out laughing while reading my Time magazine!
Waited for my brother to finish his flying lesson. We then joined Mum at the theatre for briefing by COL (NS) Andy Tan - GM of SYFC, Chief Flying Instructor Daniel, and some other teenage private pilots from SYFC Alumni etc.
The joy ride was only restricted to parents. I believe it would be a wonderful experience flying freely in the sky!
Saw some TPJCians too. At least for now, I know that 2 TPJCians have graduated with a PPL (Private Pilot License), and the other TPJCian, who is currently in the same phase as my brother, turns out to be my bro's VS schoolmate!
After that, met Dad at AMK Hub. He then drove us for dinner at Manpuku in Tampines One.

We then walked to Tampines Mall for our ice-cream dessert at Swensen's!
The most funniest thing happened.
1. After the waiter served us our ice-cream and drinks, we weren't provided with spoon.
2. My mum said jokingly to one of the waiters,
"How do I stir my coffee? With my finger?" (LOL!)3. So the waiter returned with a coffee spoon,
ONLY.
4. The 4 of us stared at our ice-cream, looked at one another, then burst out laughing.
HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO EAT OUR ICE-CREAM THEN W/O THE DESSERT SPOON??!!! HAHAHAHA!The waiter himself also started laughing and finally, returned with the basket this time round, filled with spoons, forks, knives, sugar etc.

Haha! What a wonderful day yay! You think so too? :D
& Thomson Zone WD Formation Day tomorrow. My mum's the emcee. Will be going down to TBSC to support and take photographs. :]
Shall be recharged for the battle!
