SYF'09 - United as One.

It's amazing to see that all of us bonded as one big family through the journey towards SYF. Most of the members cried while listening to Clement's speech over the system today..

The things we have gained are far more than a silver can represent. We have been through thick and thin; we shed tears, we share the happy moments together - while working steadily towards achieving the same goal.

It is definitely a challenge break-through after all the hard work and effort that have been put in.
All it takes - perseverance, commitment and teamwork.

EVERYONE plays a vital role in CO (including those non-CO members but willing to help as a CO player for SYF) ! Without whom, TPJC CO won't be able to shine as much.

Our team was after RJC (Gold) and before River Valley High (Silver).

Have been busy for the past few weeks in preparation for SYF'09 yesterday at Singapore Conference Hall. After I reached home yesterday, had my dinner, then went to sleep (!)
Woke up at 1.30am just to realise I hadn't pack my bag. -_- Thus, I dragged myself up and started clearing my stuff. After then, went back to sleep again.

Thank you to all my friends and classmates for their wishing & sharing the success with me! Appreciated. :)

Since SYF is over, it means that we don't have to eat instant noodles and bubble tea every night for dinner during CO practice break! HAHA!

QUICK UPDATES.

Pooff! Finally, I'm back for QUICK updates.

I have not been blogging because of the Mid-Term Assessment. In addition, our Chinese Orchestra (CO) SYF'09 is coming up on 6 MAY. We have been undergoing intensive practices for the past few weeks, reaching home at 10pm plus. So far this week, finally today I reached home before the sun sets. Seniors from previous batches have also came back to encourage us. :)

Although it's tiring, the spirit is there. :))

Ever since I picked up learning Liuqin last year, I have used SE7EN 弹拨片. That's a W O W.



Bought and ate this smiling donuts a week back. It is so nice, and guess what - it really cheered me up! [:

LYSG has definitely put up a marvelous guzheng performance! There are soloists, and their actions are extremely beautiful! I think they are much better than my batch then. They are capable of a GOLD for the upcoming SYF on 21 April at Republic Polytechnic.

PW 2008 Results (:

GOOD JOB to all for doing well in PW!

This year, TPJC PW A-grade students has fallen by a bit as compared to last year's, but B's have increased (tremendously), and the good thing is, there's not a D-student.

I have gotten a B for my PW. Well, I'm not at all surprised but rather, mentally prepared for it. Hehe. B is good enough, at least for me. We have done our best. What's vital now is to focus on other more important subjects. Jiayou everyone! :DD

Anyway, most of us strained our leg muscles while running for the 12X100m relay during yesterday's SPE. I can't even lift up both of my legs without the support of my hands.. =/

3 Reasons Why I like Ferrero Rocher:

1) It's wiped in GOLD. Gold is elegant.
2) It represent the shape of the globe.
3) More importantly, it has the different unique layers of the core, mantle, asthenosphere, lithosphere etc.

The reason why I posted about Ferrero Rocher is because I just ate one. Furthermore, I took it out from the freezer! Lols. :]

I feel so 乖 to sleep before the clock strike 12 midnight yesterday. Woohoo!

Anyway, SPE with Commando Lee has been good. Although the training is tough, it actually helps to toughen up our muscles and stamina. Therefore, it is good good good. Hehe.. :)

All right, I must complete my Econs assignments by tonight. Maths, Geog, and CLL as well - hopefully.

I was amazed when I first saw the drawing. It's really nice, at least to me. 'cos I can't draw well. Lols. :)

Next, the two pictures below were taken on our way back for CO practice on Wednesday after dinner. We were walking up the steep slope of the college.

Wan Chin said the thick clouds made her felt like taking a stick and just scoop it up, like how we eat candy floss. Haha. =]

Anyway, we had our Poverty lecture on Thursday. The phrase that appears in the video gotten my attention:
